John Vernon has practiced in Alamance County over four decades, providing guidance and legal assistance to many of the county’s most recognizable businesses and families.  Today, John practices primarily in the areas of business law, tax, estate planning and trust and estate administration.  His work involves advising local companies in all manner of matters, including formation, restructuring, contract drafting or disputes, employment issues, mergers, acquisitions, dissolutions and tax concerns.  Additionally, John regularly provides his clients with estate planning services, such as drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney and health care powers of attorney.  The nature of his services may range from very basic estate planning or estate administration to sophisticated planning techniques and the administration of large trusts and estates.  John is a Burlington native and continues to reside here with his wife, Vickie.
