Kristen L. DelForge
A native of North Carolina, Kristen graduated from Elon University in 2011 and from Elon University School of Law in 2014. During law school Kristen was a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem, competed on Elon’s Moot Court Board and was the student chair of the 4th Annual Billings, Exum and Frye Moot Court Tournament. She was also selected to mentor other Elon Law students through the Dean’s Fellows Program. During her third year, Kristen was honored with the North Carolina Advocates for Justice Student Advocacy Award for her commitment to public service and excellence in trial and appellate advocacy.
In addition to practicing with The Vernon Law Firm as a licensed North Carolina Attorney, Kristen enjoys her role as an Assistant Adjunct Professor at Elon University coaching the undergraduate Mock Trial Competition Team and co-instructing an online class designed to prepare law students for the North Carolina Bar Exam.
As an attorney, Kristen is committed to helping people navigate the complexities of the legal process and works to achieve the best outcomes possible. Kristen handles a wide variety of legal issues, but her main practice areas include: all areas of Family Law, Criminal Defense and Traffic Law, and general litigation.
When Kristen is not in the office, courtroom or classroom, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with friends and family.
